Skip Ohman to host Model Rigging Training session
TactiLearning's Roger "Skip" Ohman will host a hands-on training session and breakout workshop at the NACB 2018 Lift & Load Handling Training Expo in Orlando, FL November 12-15. Ohman will present the basics of lifting with multiple sheave blocks and rigging with snatch blocks. These basics will then be put into hands on use by teams using models during the workshops that follow the General Session.

TactiLearning Exhibited at the AWRF Fall General Meeting and P.I.E.
TactiLearning exhibited its Model Rigging Training Kits as part of the Product Information Exhibition at the AWRF Fall General Meeting October 22-25 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The exhibit included TactiLearning's new Load Cell Model Rigging Training Kit, featuring two working digital model load cells and classroom curriculum designed for classroom instruction by an experienced rigger to demonstrate the effects of sling angle on sling tension and the loads on hardware.
TactiLearning Hosts Training Session and Challenge Workshops at NACB
TactiLearning hosted a hands-on training session and workshop challenges at the NACB 2017 Lift & Load Handling Training Expo in Orlando, FL October 16-19. Roger "Skip" Ohman presented a general session on the utility of hands-on training using TactiLearning's NACB Model Rigging Training Kit. Gregory Kane hosted follow-up challenge workshops for breakout groups featuring the model rigging kits. The participants were asked to rig a series of five rigging scenarios safely given the materials and specifications provided. The event also celebrated the launch of the NACB Model Rigging Training Kit available via their online store.
